Office Policies

  • Appointment cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged the fee for the missed session. Please understand that I am unable to waive appointment fees if you cancel within the 48 hour period.  If you must cancel, I will make every effort to reschedule you as quickly as possible so that your counseling process can continue.

  • I accept cash, checks, and credit cards as forms of payment.  Payment for all services is due at the time they are rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

  • I accept BCBS insurance reimbursement as a form of payment.  Please check with your insurance company before initiating our first session to determine if you have coverage and what is needed for you to file with them for reimbursement.  In addition, most insurance companies will require a diagnosis of mental health condition before they will reimburse you. If you wish to submit for reimbursement from your insurance company, I will inform you of the diagnosis and you may choose whether or not you wish to submit it; I am unable to make calls to your insurance company on your behalf.

  • Please be aware that any diagnosis that is submitted will become a part of your permanent insurance record and cannot be held confidentially.
